Guadalupe Magallan Torres has dedicated over 23 years to advancing early childhood education through leadership, training, and advocacy. She holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Social Work, including a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Walla Walla University.

A Washington State-approved trainer, mentor, and NAFCC accreditation trainer for over nine years, Guadalupe helps educators strengthen their skills and programs. She currently leads DUEN, a nonprofit focused on workforce development and professional training for child care providers. Her extensive background includes serving as an ECEAP Regional Director and guiding providers through the process of opening licensed child care centers and family homes.

As a bilingual educator and accomplished grant writer, Guadalupe has successfully secured more than $7 million in funding to support child care facilities. Outside of her professional work, she is a proud mother of three and grandmother of one. Her mission is to inspire others to advocate fiercely for children, families, and the future of early learning.
